(a) 
Adopted.
The city does hereby adopt the "Public Works Construction Standards" as promulgated by the North Central Texas Council of Governments which shall be the standards and specifications to be used in connection with public works construction, and private development projects for the city.
(b) 
Amendments.
The city adopts the specifications and standards as previously specified with the further provision that, as those standards and specifications are from time to time amended by the North Central Texas Council of Governments, those revisions and specifications shall be incorporated into and made a part of the standards and specifications as they apply to the city.

(a) 
Adopted.
There is hereby adopted that certain code known as “Standard Construction Details” which is on file in the office of the City Secretary and made a part hereof for all purposes.
(b) 
Authority.
The director of public works will have authority to make changes and revisions to specifications and/or drawings, as necessary, on all public works projects.

(a) 
No certificate of occupancy may be issued for a structure that fails to meet the technical code requirements set forth in sections 24.01.001, 24.01.002 and article 24.03 of this chapter, as amended and of this Code of Ordinances.
(b) 
For commercial projects, the developer shall provide the city with a maintenance bond prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy. Said maintenance bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the replacement value, as determined by the city, of all public improvements to be dedicated to the city for a period of no less than two (2) years.
