(a)
Tobacco-free areas.
The following buildings, locations and vehicles will hereafter be designated as tobacco-free areas:
(1)
The city hall located at 203 North Pearl Street.
(2)
The SNAP/Fireman’s Hall located at 201 North Pearl Street.
(3)
The fire station located at 202-206 Hamilton Street.
(4)
The wastewater building located west of South Pearl Street.
(5)
The wastewater lift stations located on West Saunders and Highway 69.
(6)
The water treatment facilities located at 212 Washington Street, 201 May Street, and the facility located on Third Street.
(7)
The restrooms in the city park.
(8)
All city-owned vehicles.
(b)
Posting of signs.
Whenever any areas of the city are designated as areas in which smoking and use of all tobacco products is prohibited, signs giving notice thereof shall be placed and maintained, and no such regulation shall be effective unless such signs are in place.
