Any person violating this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined. Each day any such gasoline storage tanks are kept or permitted to be kept under circumstances prohibited in sections
5.06.002 and
5.06.003 shall constitute a separate violation of this article.

It shall be unlawful for any person to keep or maintain above-ground
gasoline storage tanks within the corporate limits of the city, for
the reason that the same is dangerous to each and every inhabitant
living and working within the city limits.

It shall be unlawful for any person to keep, own or maintain
within the city limits gasoline storage tanks with the capacity of
four thousand (4,000) gallons or less unless such storage tank is
at least 3/16 of an inch in thickness and buried not less than 2 feet
below the ground. All gasoline storage tanks with the capacity of
more than four thousand (4,000) gallons must be at least 1/4 of an
inch in thickness and buried below the ground not less than 2 feet.
