No vehicle shall be driven at a speed greater than thirty (30)
miles per hour on any street within the corporate limits and at a
speed greater than fifteen (15) miles per hour in any alley unless
otherwise provided by ordinance.

Ordinances establishing special speed limits for specific streets
are not included in this code, but such ordinances are on file in
the city secretary’s office. Ordinances establishing special
speed limits are specifically saved from repeal upon adoption of the
Code of Ordinances.
