Editor’s note–Ordinance 19-845, adopted June 17, 2019, repealed former art. II, secs. 19-11 and 19-12, and enacted a new art. II, secs. 19-11 and 19-12. Former art. II pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ordinance of Sept. 19, 1977. In order to facilitate inclusion of the zoning ordinance as art. I of chapter 19, the provisions of Ordinance 19-845 have been redesignated by the editor as secs. 19-61 and 19-62.
Subject to like provisions being made by the Eastland County commissioners court by proper order, duly promulgated and entered on its minutes, and as authorized by the provisions of the Airport Zoning Act, V.T.C.A. Local Government Code section 241.001 et seq., there is hereby created a joint airport zoning board, to be known as the Eastland Municipal Airport Joint Zoning Board, which board shall have the powers and exercise the duties set forth in V.T.C.A., Local Government Code, section 241.014.

The joint airport zoning board shall be composed of five members, two members to be appointed by the Eastland board of commissioners, two members to be appointed by the Eastland County commissioners court, and the fifth member being elected by a majority of the members so appointed, and said fifth member shall serve as chairman of the board.
