(a)
When the city has required fire lanes
and fire turnarounds to be designated on a plat or development plan,
city staff shall install no parking signs and other appropriate warning
signs in such zones.
(b)
It shall be an offense under this
section for any person to park a vehicle of any kind or character
in a zone that is posted for no parking as a fire lane or a fire turnaround.
(c)
A person who violates this section
shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor and shall be punished by
a fine not to exceed $500.00 for each day or part thereof that the
violation occurs.
(d)
The city code enforcement officer
and the city police department shall have the right to cause any vehicle
to be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense to a vehicle impoundment
facility.
