(a)
It is hereby officially found, determined and declared that the city presently has 600 or more inhabitants.
(b)
In accordance with the provisions of chapter 6, subchapter B, Texas Local Government Code, as amended, the city hereby changes to a type A general law municipality and shall be vested with all rights, powers, privileges, immunities and franchises of a type A general law municipality under the constitution and laws of the state.
(c)
The city hereby officially finds, determines, and declares that all acts of the city council, and all officers and officials of the city, prior to the date of this section, are ratified and confirmed.
(d)
This section shall be entered upon the journal of the proceedings of the city council, and a copy of the ordinance from which this section derives shall be signed by the mayor and attested by the city secretary under the corporate seal of the city and shall be filed and recorded in the office of the county clerk.
