When a contractor registration is to be recorded with the building
official, the following fees shall be applied:
(1) Initial
registration: $100.00.
(2) Registration
renewal, 1 year: $75.00.
(3) Registration
renewal, 2 year: $125.00.

(a) Commercial
permit fee.
The building permit fee charged to build
a new building, to add on to an existing building, to remodel, or
to alter an existing building shall be based on the fee valuation
calculation in town policy in conjunction with table 1 below. Any
fee listed in this article as “based on valuation” means
the fee shall be based on the declared valuation of the proposed improvement
in accordance with table 1. The building official may require that
the declared valuation be verified. All fees will be rounded to the
next whole dollar.

not considered received until the plan review fee has been paid.
(1) Commercial and multifamily: 45% of the building permit fee.
(2) One- and two-family residential: 30% of the building permit fee.
(d) Fence.
(2) Swimming pool barrier: $25.00.
(4) Subdivision screening wall: $100.00.
(e) Accessory
buildings.
(1) Residential portable (less than 120 s.f.): $25.00.
(2) Residential permanent (including carports): $0.38 per square foot.
(3) Commercial: Based on valuation.
(f) Miscellaneous
construction.
(1) Any permit required not otherwise specified: $50.00.
(2) Excavation or fill of site (not in conjunction with construction
permit): $50.00 per platted lot.
(3) Sidewalk, curb and drive approach: $50.00.
(4) Parking lots: Based on valuation.
(g) Electrical.
(1) No-charge permit.
The building permit electrical fee
charge in conjunction with the construction of a new building, or
an addition to an existing building, or for the remodeling or alteration
to an existing building shall be assessed at no charge. A no-charge
permit must be secured prior to commencing work.
(3) Miscellaneous fees.
There shall be a base fee along
with the associated fee(s) listed:
(D) Services and subpanels; new, repair, replace (each):
(i)
Up to and including 200 amps: $20.00.
(ii)
Over 200 amps up to and including 400 amps: $40.00.
(E) Lights, outlets, fixtures, switches, receptacles (each): $0.50.
(F) Equipment rated in HP (motors) (each):
(i)
Up to and including 3 HP: $2.00.
(ii)
Over 3 HP and up to and including 10 HP: $4.00.
(G) Equipment rated in KW (each):
(i)
Up to and including 15 KW: $4.00.
(ii)
Over 15 KW and up to and including 50 KW: $6.00.
(H) Equipment rated in tons (each):
(i)
Up to and including 5 tons: $4.00.
(ii)
Over 5 tons and up to and including 7-1/2 tons: $6.00.
(h) Mechanical.
(1) No-charge permit.

charged in conjunction with the construction of a new building, or
an addition to an existing building, or for the remodeling or alteration
to an existing building shall be assessed at no charge. A no-charge
permit must be secured prior to commencing work.
(3) Miscellaneous fees.
There shall be a base fee along
with the associated fee(s) listed:
(B) Install/replace complete HVAC system (each):
(i)
Up to and including 10 tons: $30.00.
(C) Install/replace HVAC component (including duct work) (each): $20.00.
(D) Install/replace chiller unit, cooling tower, condenser, compressor,
etc.: $50.00.
(E) Install/replace complete commercial vent hood system:
(ii)
Each additional system at same address: $35.00.
(F) Install/replace commercial vent hood system component:
(G) Miscellaneous mechanical: $20.00.
(i) Plumbing.
(1) No-charge permit.
The building permit plumbing fee charged
in conjunction with the construction of a new building, or an addition
to an existing building, or for the remodeling or alteration to an
existing building shall be assessed at no charge. A no-charge permit
must be secured prior to commencing work.
(3) Miscellaneous fees.
There shall be a base fee along
with the associated fee(s) listed:
(B) Install/replace water heater: $15.00.
(C) Install/replace sewer line: $20.00.
(D) Install/replace water line: $20.00.
(E) Install/replace gas line: $25.00.
(F) Install/replace new fixtures:
(G) Install/replace grease, sand, etc. interceptor: $100.00.
(H) Install irrigation system: $50.00.
(I) Miscellaneous plumbing: $20.00.

For a permit to move a building through, upon or across any
sidewalk, street, alley, highway or other public property of the town,
the fee shall be as follows:
(1) When
the point of destination is within the town and the move is completed
in one day:
(A) Buildings of less than 300 square feet: $25.00.
(B) Buildings of 300 to 899 square feet: $35.00.
(C) Buildings of 900 or more square feet: $75.00.
When a building is moved in sections, the total fee shall be
based upon the total area of the buildings plus $10.00 for each section
more than one.
(2) When
the move requires more than one day upon the town streets, alleys
or other public property, there shall be added for each additional
day an amount equal to 50% of the fee required for the first day.

For a permit to wreck, raze or dismantle a building or structure
within the town, the fee shall be $50.00.
