Every applicant, before being granted a permit hereunder, shall
pay to the City of DeSoto the appropriate permit fee as follows:
(1)
Signs:
$50.00 plus $1.00 per square foot;
(2)
Banners,
Flags and Pennants: $25.00 per permit;
(3)
Late
Penalty Fee: When a sign is erected, placed, moved, or maintained
or work started thereon before obtaining a sign permit, there shall
be a late fee equal to twice the amount of the sign permit fee. The
late fee does not excuse full compliance with the sign regulation
provisions.
