(a)
Parkland
Dedication Fees.
The city manager or designate is hereby
authorized to collect the following fees in lieu of parkland dedication.
$500.00 per dwelling unit
and to place such sums in the special escrow account known as
the parkland dedication fund.
(b)
Prior
Development Fees.
In the event a landowner or developer
has previously contributed land or money to the City of DeSoto in
compliance with the Park Land Dedication Ordinance, the additional
building fee provisions shall not apply.
