(a) 
Residential units.
There shall be charged, assessed and collected from each dwelling or residential unit, within the corporate limits of the city, a charge of $30.00 per month for sanitation services. For accounts with multiple buildings or structure units serviced through one water meter, there shall be a charge of $30.00 per month for each building or structure unit serviced.
(b) 
Commercial or industrial units.
There shall be charged, assessed and collected from each business within the city, a minimum fee of $44.00 per month for sanitation services. Where two or more businesses are owned and operated by natural persons comprising a family and operating within the confines of a commercial or industrial unit, they shall be billed accordingly (business/business, residential/business) as a double minimum, etc. For accounts with multiple buildings or structure units serviced through one water meter, there shall be a charge of $44.00 per month for each building or structure unit serviced. The following monthly sanitation rates for each commercial or industrial unit are hereby established:

The rates for the collection of garbage and trash from commercial business establishments will be assessed according to the monthly rate schedule attached to Ordinance 19-11, adopted 10/25/19, on file in the office of the city secretary.
(2) 
Each commercial or business customer will be classified in one of the categories for purposes of assessing rates under this section unless an additional container/dumpster is needed, at which time an additional fee will be charged pursuant to the fee schedule attached to Ordinance 19-11, adopted 10/25/19, on file in the office of the city secretary.
(3) 
It shall be the duty of the sanitation supervisor to make periodic surveys and recommend to the city manager the charge for the same, using the above rates in accordance with the amount of collection and disposal to be done.

For accounts with multiple buildings or structure units serviced through one water meter, there shall be a charge of $74.00 per month for each building or structure unit serviced.
(b) 
Commercial or industrial units.
There shall be charged, assessed and collected from each business outside the corporate limits of the city where garbage service is provided, a minimum fee of $150.00 per month for garbage services. For accounts with multiple buildings or structure units serviced through one water meter, there shall be a charge of $150.00 per month for each building or structure unit serviced. The following monthly garbage rates for each commercial or industrial unit outside the corporate limits of the city are hereby established.

The owner of a trailer park inside the city shall be charged $45.00 for each three-yard container located in the RV facility.

(a) 
Customers located outside the ETJ shall pay a deposit of $160.00 per residential unit and $250.00 per commercial unit prior to the initiation of service.
(b) 
The City shall hold deposits to secure payment of outstanding balances. Refunds shall be issued upon termination of service and full settlement of the account.

(a) 
Collection station gate fees.
The following fees will be charged as gate fees for disposing of C&D debris, brush, trees and lawn clippings at the city citizens collection station:
(1) 
Residential waste: $25.00 per cubic yard.
(2) 
Outside (non-city resident) and commercial waste: $135.00 per cubic yard.
(3) 
Construction and demolition waste: $300.00 per cubic yard.
(b) 
Tires and other special fees.
(1) 
Asphalt shingles and other rubber or petroleum based products.
Sanitary landfill fees for asphalt shingles, and other rubber or petroleum based products, except tires, shall be charged at a rate of two times the rates established for other types of refuse.
(2) 
Tires.
Whole tires, large tires, tractor tires, and other tire fees will be charged based upon the current market rate charged to the city for collection and disposal plus an extra 10% labor fee. The amounts will be rounded up to the nearest dollar amount. The following rate reflects current market.

The price for renting a 30-yard roll-off is as follows:
(1) 
$145.00 delivery fee (each time container is delivered).
(2) 
$260.00 haul fee (to and from landfill).
(3) 
$405.00 to be paid prior to delivery of container.
(4) 
Customer will be billed daily fee and tonnage after waste is disposed of by the city.
(5) 
$5.00 per day rental (or $100.00 maximum per month).
