(a)
There is hereby adopted the 2024 International Plumbing Code, save and except those portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended. Appendix A, Appendix C, and Appendix E of the 2024 International Plumbing Code are hereby specifically adopted and shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth in this division. All other appendices of the 2024 International Plumbing Code are hereby expressly excluded and shall not be adopted or enforced by the city unless subsequently adopted by ordinance. Said plumbing code is adopted for regulating the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, repair, location, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems in the city and provide for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions, and terms of such International Plumbing Code, published by the International Code Council and on file in the office of the code compliance official, are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein.
