The following are maximum deposit, connect fee, delinquent account collection, penalty, reconnection and special charges policy for the city utilities department:
(1)
Deposit; connection fee.
(A)
Deposit for permanent service.
Two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for residential and not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for commercial.
(B)
Temporary service.
Deposit for services rendered on a temporary basis for all classes of rate users: Twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
(C)
Connection fee.
Utility service connection: Fifty dollars ($50.00).
(2)
Delinquency.
Service fee for reconnections made during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday: $30.00. Service fee for reconnects made at any other time: $50.00.
(3)
Returned payment.
Fee for payments returned for insufficient funds or any other reason: Not in excess of $30.00 per payment.
(4)
Special services.
Fees for special services: Not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per service call plus materials used.
