ORDINANCE NO. 01-005
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLYDE, TEXAS, ESTABLISHING THE FOLLOWING
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE APPROVAL OF PLATS, SUBDIVISIONS, OR
DEDICATIONS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLYDE, AND
WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF ITS EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION.
WHEREAS, in order to promote the utilization of land in a manner
to assure the optimum community environment in accordance with the
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Clyde, Texas, and
WHEREAS, in order to protect and promote the health, safety,
and general welfare of the citizens of Clyde by supervising the design,
location, class and type of streets, sidewalks, utilities, and other
essential areas and services required; and
WHEREAS, in order to guide and assist the developers in the
correct procedures to be followed and to inform them of the standards
which shall be required.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLYDE TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Clyde, Texas
has determined that it is in the best interest of the Citizens of
the City of Clyde to promote the utilization of land in a manner to
assure the optimum community environment in accordance with the Comprehensive
Plan.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Clyde, Texas
has determined that it is in the best interest of the Citizens of
the City of Clyde to supervise the design, location, class and type
of streets, sidewalks, utilities, and other essential areas and services
required to serve the citizens of the City of Clyde, and the Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction.
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Clyde, Texas
in order to guide and assist the developers in the correct procedures
to be followed and to inform them of the standards which shall be
required, do hereby adopt the following regulations concerning the
subdivision of land within the City of Clyde, and the Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
