(a)
Pursuant to the local option available, the city elects to continue the imposition of the one percent city sales tax on residential use of gas and electricity.
(b)
Notice of the city’s intent to continue the imposition of the one percent city sales tax on residential use of gas and electricity will be sent to the comptroller of public accounts by registered or certified mail no later than May 1, 1979.
