(a) 
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place, store, park, display or exhibit any automobile, truck, tractor or any other motor vehicle or machinery for the purpose of sale, advertising, bartering or storing the same, upon any public street or alley within the corporate limits of the city.
(b) 
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place, store, display or exhibit any other wares or merchandise, not mentioned in subsection (a) of this article, for the purpose of sale, in such a manner as to interfere or impede the free public use of any street, alley or sidewalk, within the corporate limits of the city.
