(a) Title 116, Roads, Bridges, and Ferries, chapter 1A, Traffic Regulations,
article 6701d et seq., Civil Statutes of Texas, as amended, shall
be hereafter the official traffic regulations of the city, the same
article 6701d et seq., as amended, being incorporated verbatim as
an ordinance of the city as if set forth verbatim.
(b) The violation of title 116, Roads, Bridges and Ferries, chapter 1A,
Traffic Regulations, article 6701d et seq., Texas Revised Civil Statutes,
as amended, shall constitute a violation of this section and be punishable
as a misdemeanor for which such fine shall not exceed $200.00. Any
person who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof be fined any
sum not less than $1.00, nor more than $200.00, and each and every
violation of the provisions of this section shall constitute a separate
offense.

provision, the regulations contained in the Uniform Act Regulating
Traffic on Highways (V.T.C.S., article 6701d) have been recodified
and are now located in V.T.C.A., Transportation Code.
