9.1.1 RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICTS.
A. All principal
buildings and structures located in the R-1L, R-1, R-2, R-3, and R-4
zoning districts are required to be constructed of materials deemed
acceptable by the International Building Code as approved by the last
three (3) cycles applicable to the total exterior walls to the top
plate, excluding doors, windows, and porches.
B. Residential
structures being constructed in the A, Agricultural zoning district
are required to be constructed of materials deemed acceptable by the
International Building Code as approved by the last three (3) cycles
applicable to the top plate, excluding doors, windows, and porches.
C. Residential
structures being reconstructed or remodeled in the Heritage Overlay
District or the Original Town of Joshua Addition may utilize hardiplank
or hardiboard for current structures to make up the eighty percent
(80%) masonry.
9.1.2 NONRESIDENTIAL
DISTRICTS.
Materials for exterior facades for the principal
building or structure are requested to be of masonry construction
as defined by the International Building Code as approved for the
last three (3) cycles and may also include Exterior Insulated Finish
Systems (EIFS).
A. All principal
buildings and structures located in the C-1, C-2 or I zoning district
are required to be constructed of materials deemed acceptable by the
International Building Code as approved by the last three (3) cycles.
