(a)
The person to whom the permit is issued shall immediately notify the chief of the fire department and any and all companies maintaining any electric and/or telephone wires across or along any street included in the designated route along which such building or other structure is to be moved of the issuance of such permit and shall state when same is to be moved and the probable length of time necessary for such removal, and, in addition, shall notify the city water department of the issuance of such permit and the time it is proposed to move such building or other structure in ample time to allow the disconnection of such utility service lines to such building or other structure.
(b)
Said person, after receiving his permit to move the house, building or structure and after having obtained written clearance from the utility companies and any other person owning or having overhead wires and cables across any street, alley or public way in the city along the route which said house, building or structure will pass, shall give 24 hours’ notice to said companies, not including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, for said persons to cut any wires necessary to be cut, for the lifting of wires necessary, for removing/raising cables and for the removal of poles or structures along said route. After such notification has been received, it shall be the duty of such person to furnish agents or employees whose duties shall be to cut and repair such wires of the particular person by whom they are employed with which the house or structure is being moved may come into contact. Said agents and employees shall cut, raise or remove any of the obstructions in order to permit said house, building or structure to be moved along the street, alleys or other public property of the city. No person shall furnish any agents or employees in excess of those actually required to do the particular job necessary or charge any unreasonable rates for such services rendered.
