(a)
All
elections pertaining to affairs of the city shall be governed by and
conducted in accordance with the election laws of the state, specifically,
V.T.C.A., Election Code.
(b)
The
general election for the city shall be held on the November uniform
election date as it currently exists or as may be provided for under
state law.
