Any person violating any of the city’s park rules and regulations shall, upon conviction, be fined in the municipal court in an amount up to five hundred dollars ($500.00).

(a) 
Definitions.
Glass.
Any breakable object made of glass, whether a bottle, cup, glass, bowl or any other article of any kind, with the exception of eyewear for the protection, correction or enhancement of vision.
Municipal park.
The city owned and operated park facilities located on Block 71, and on Blocks 158, 190 and 191, and the vacated streets and alleyways between and in said Blocks 158, 190 and 191, all located within the corporate limits of the city.
(b) 
Offenses; penalty.
(1) 
A person commits an offense if a person carries, possesses, transports or otherwise uses glass in or across the municipal park.
(2) 
A person commits an offense if, in the municipal park, a person fails or refuses to remove glass articles from the park when requested to do so by any person.
(3) 
Any person convicted of violating any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than one dollar and not more than five hundred dollars.
(c) 
Posting of signs.
Signs shall be placed at the entrance(s) to municipal parks or any other place suitable for indicating that glass articles are not to be taken into any municipal park.

Municipal swimming pool.
The actual swimming pool areas, the restrooms and offices adjacent to the pool, and the fence enclosing the swimming pool, all located at the municipal park in the city.
Smoke, smokes or smoking.
(1) 
Carrying or holding a lighted pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind or any other lighted smoking equipment or device.
(2) 
The combustion of any cigar, cigarette, tobacco, or similar article, or any other combustible substance in any manner or in any form.
(3) 
Emitting or exhaling the smoke of a pipe, cigar, or cigarette of any kind or any other lighted smoking equipment or device.
(b) 
Offenses; penalty.
(1) 
A person commits an offense if a person smokes in the municipal swimming pool.
(2) 
A person commits an offense if, in the municipal swimming pool, a person fails or refuses to extinguish smoking materials when requested to do so by any person.
(3) 
Any person convicted of violating any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than one dollar ($1.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
(c) 
Posting of signs.
Signs shall be placed at the entrance to the municipal swimming pool.
