(a) The fee schedule in appendix
A of this code establishes charges and regulations for use of Richards Park, Willy Washington Park and Brady Lake campgrounds.
(b) There
are only three (3) areas located within the corporate limits of the
city designated as overnight camping areas. These are:
(1) The area around Brady Lake, except for the following areas, where
overnight camping is prohibited:
(A) The pavilion, swimming beach and picnic areas at Brady Lake.
(B) The areas at Brady Lake that are operated by lease agreement, including
the cabana area, the marina area, and the trailer spaces.
(2) The area around and within Richards Park, except the areas within
the rock walls and ballfields, where overnight camping is prohibited.
(3) The area within Willy Washington Park.

The city may establish fees related to camping, facility rental, and marina usage at each of the city’s parks. The applicable fees are set forth in the fee schedule in appendix
A of this code, and may be updated periodically by the city council.

(a) General prohibition.
In order to maintain the use of
parks and recreation areas for their designed purposes, drilling and
mining are hereby prohibited.
(b) Golf course and other recreation areas.
Drilling and
mining of minerals at the Brady Golf Course and other recreation areas
is hereby prohibited.
(c) Aquatic center.
(1) It shall be unlawful to drill a well for the purpose of exploring
for or producing oil and/or gas, or to mine for any purpose, within
the limits of the Brady Aquatic Center Park.
(2) Drilling for water wells to be used for on-site irrigation and/or
other recreational purposes shall be allowed on the project site after
approval of such by TPW.
