Swimming pool fees are as set forth in the fee schedule in appendix
A of this code.

(a) The
aquatic complex swimming pool may be rented for private parties with
certain restrictions.
(b) Fees are as set forth in the fee schedule in appendix
A of this code.
(c) Fees will include a nonrefundable deposit in the amount set forth in the fee schedule in appendix
A of this code to secure a reservation. Said deposit will be applied to the total cost of the party as long as the party is not cancelled. In the event that a party is cancelled, the deposit will be forfeited.
(d) The
pool manager will schedule all private parties at times other than
when the pool is open to the public.
(e) Private
parties will be for a maximum of three hours and must end by 10:00
p.m.

(a) The
city council will set salaries, number of employees and dates for
opening and closing of the pool.
(b) Pool
manager(s) are responsible for routine pool cleaning and upkeep, along
with the day-to-day operation. The pool manager(s) as prescribed by
the finance officer will account for all monies. Most importantly,
the pool manager(s) are responsible that all the activities are conducted
with safety of patrons and employees being of paramount importance.
(c) Children
ten and below will not be permitted without an adult or competent
person age 16 or over.
(d) Children
eleven and above will be permitted without an adult; however, they
must qualify as an efficient swimmer, swimming test given by a pool
lifeguard. (Lifeguards are trained to administer this test.)
(e) Persons
unable to pass a swim test must stay in water that is not over their
shoulders.
(f) Regular
city-employed lifeguards are required for all activities, public or
private.
(g) Lifeguards
as well as the managers are authorized to expel patrons from the pool
for any actions adversely affecting safety.
(h) No
alcoholic beverages will be allowed on the premises.
(i) No
glass containers are to be allowed in or around the pool at any time.
(j) No
outside food or beverages will be allowed except for private parties.
(k) All
rules of common sense and safety are to be enforced by pool employees.
