Before any person shall do any work or make any connections
with the sewer or gas system in the city or do any plumbing work connected
or intended to be connected with the sewer or gas system, he shall
be licensed as provided in the Plumbing License Law of 1947, as amended,
the same being V.T.C.A., Occupations Code, chapter 1301.

Every master plumber doing business in the city shall execute
and deliver to the city a bond with a surety bonding company in the
sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) to indemnify the city or any
citizen for any damage caused by the failure of such master plumber
to comply strictly with the provisions of this division. No plumbing
permit shall be issued to any master plumber unless such bond has
been delivered to the city and is in full force and effect.
