(a)
All business establishments, residences and public buildings within the city, shall be numbered in accordance and compliance with the terms of this article and in accordance with the plat delineating and prescribing the method of numbering houses heretofore adopted and on file of record in the office of the city secretary.
(b)
All business establishments, residences and public buildings shall have placed in front of the structure a street number of a size and color legible enough to be seen by the public from the street in front of the structure, with the minimum size of the number to be in accordance with the provisions of this article.
(c)
It shall be the duty and responsibility of all structures used for residential, public, business, commerce, and industry, in the city to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street in front of such structure, figures in Arabic numerals or letters at least four (4") inches high showing the number of the house or structure.
(d)
Where structures are at such a distance from the street so as to make the visibility of numbers located on the structure unclear, numbers shall be placed on a post, plate or other such placard at a place near the front of the property where such numbers may be clearly seen from the street.
(e)
All numbers placed in accordance with this article must be neat, legible and made of such a material that the numbers will not tarnish, corrode, or deteriorate in such a manner as to be illegible or unclear.
