The ordinance dated October 1, 1979, being the city’s
official comprehensive plan, and any amendments thereto, are hereby
incorporated herein and made a part hereof by reference. Said comprehensive
plan is on file in the office of the city secretary.

The comprehensive zoning ordinance, Ordinance 400, adopted by the
city on October 4, 2021, as amended, is included at the end of this
chapter as exhibit A. Due to the nature of the zoning ordinance and
the technicalities involved in adopting or amending it, such ordinance
is printed herein as enacted, with only nonsubstantive formatting
and style changes. Capitalization and punctuation have been retained.
In order to reflect the chapter number in the new code, the first
part of article and section numbers has been changed from “10”
to “14.” Subsequent amendments will be inserted in their
proper place and denoted by a history note following the amended section.
Obviously misspelled words have been corrected without notation. Any
other material added for purposes of clarification is enclosed in
brackets.

Prior to adoption of Ordinance 333, zoning was regulated by the zoning
ordinance adopted October 1, 1979, as amended, published as title
10 in the 1997 Code of Ordinances.
