(a) 
The following prescribed section of Farm to Market Road 1841 (Boggie St.) as indicated on the attached plan marked “Exhibit A” is regulated as to the speed of motor vehicles traveling thereon in the direction indicated, and it shall be unlawful for the driver of any motor vehicle to drive said vehicle within said section in the direction stated at a speed in excess of the following:
(1) 
For traffic traveling in a southerly direction on Farm to Market Road 1841 (Boggie Street):
(A) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from the intersection of FM 249 (Main St.) and FM 1841 (Boggie St.) to a point 0.752 miles south, said point being 120 feet south of SH 77;
(B) 
Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from a point 0.752 miles south of the intersection of FM 249 (Main St.) and FM 1841 (Boggie St.), south for a distance of 0.178 miles, to a point 0.930 miles south of the intersection of FM 249 (Main St.) and FM 1841 (Boggie St.), said point being the south city limits of Atlanta.
(2) 
For traffic traveling in a northerly direction on Farm to Market Road 1841 (Boggie Street):
(A) 
Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from the south city limits of Atlanta, to a point 0.232 miles north, said point being 165 feet north of SH 77;
(B) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 0.232 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, north for a distance of 0.698 miles to a point 0.930 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, said point being the intersection of FM 249 (Main St.) and FM 1841 (Boggie St.).
(b) 
The hereinabove speeds for vehicular traffic traveling upon the hereinabove designated section of Farm to Market Road 1841 (Boggie St.) in the direction herein specified be and they are hereby found to be reasonable and safe prima facie speed limits therefor. The fact that this regulation of the speed of motor vehicles is needed, creates an emergency which is for the immediate preservation of public safety- and-general welfare, requires that this article take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
(c) 
The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation is authorized to erect signs indicating the speed limits herein designated.
(d) 
Any person violating any provision of this article shall upon conviction be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in Section 1.106 of this code.

Thirty-Five (35) miles per hour from a point 1.329 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.412 miles, to a point 1.741 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, said point being 67 feet south of Taylor Street;
(D) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 1.741 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.693 miles, to a point 2.434 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, said point being 390 feet south of SH 77;

Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from a point 2.434 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.309 miles, to a point 2.743 miles south of the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta, said point of termination also being the south city limit of Atlanta.

For traffic traveling in a northerly direction on US Highway 43 (Louise St.):

Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from the south city limit of Atlanta to a point 0.478 miles north, said point being 502 feet north of SH 77;

Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 0.478 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.524 miles, to a point 1.002 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, said point being 67 feet south of Taylor Street;
(C) 
Thirty-Five (35) miles per hour from a point 1.002 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.412 miles, to a point 1.414 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, said point being 259 feet north of Miller Street (East);
(D) 
Forty (40) miles per hour from a point 1.414 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.512 miles, to a point 1.926 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, said point being 327 feet south of Red Bluff Road;
(E) 
Fifty (50) miles per hour from a point 1.926 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.817 miles, to a point 2.743 miles north of the south city limit of Atlanta, said point of termination also being the intersection of SH 43 and US 59 in the City of Atlanta.
(b) 
The hereinabove speeds for vehicular traffic traveling upon the hereinabove designated portions of State Highway 43 (Louise St.) in the direction herein specified be and they are hereby found to be reasonable and safe prima facie speed limits therefor. (B) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 1.442 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta, south for a distance of 1.174 miles to a point 2.616 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta, said point being 206 feet north of East Miller Street;
(C) 
Thirty-Five (35) miles per hour from a point 2.616 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta south for a distance of 0.476 miles to a point 3.092 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta, said point being 230 feet north of Haw Creek Bridge.
(D) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 3.092 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta, south for a distance of 0.483 miles to a point 3.575 miles south of the north city limits of Atlanta said point being 325 feet south of the intersection of SH 77 and FM 251 in Atlanta.

Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from the south city limits of Atlanta to a point 1.390 miles north, said point being 336 feet north of the intersection of SH 77 and FM 251 in Atlanta.
(B) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 1.390 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta for a distance of 0.358 miles north, to a point 1.748 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, said point being 230 feet north of Haw Creek Bridge.
(C) 
Thirty-Five (35) miles per hour from a point 1.748 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, for a distance of 0.476 miles north, to a point 2.224 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, said point being 206 feet north of East Miller Street;
(D) 
Forty-Five (45) miles per hour from a point 2.224 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta for a distance of 1.274 miles north to a point 3.498 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, said point being 1,730 feet north of the intersection of FM 251 and FM 785 in the City of Atlanta, except for that portion from a point 3.379 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, north for a distance of 0.119 miles to a point 3.498 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, the speed shall be thirty-five (35) miles per hour when school speed zone flashing beacons are in operation.

Fifty-Five (55) miles per hour from a point 3.498 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, for a distance of 1.342 miles north to a point 4.840 miles north of the south city limits of Atlanta, said point being the north city limits of Atlanta.
(b) 
The hereinabove speeds for vehicular traffic traveling upon the hereinabove designated section of Farm to Market Road 251 in the direction herein specified be and they are hereby found to be reasonable and safe prima speed limits therefor. For Traffic Traveling in a South-Westerly Direction on U.S. 59:
(A) 
Fifty (50) miles per hour from the north city limits of Atlanta also being the south city limits of Queen City (MP 11.376–Cont. 218-03), south and west for a distance of 3.091 miles, to a point 170 feet west of a residential street.
(B) 
Sixty (60) miles per hour from a point 3.091 miles south and west of the north city limits of Atlanta, southwesterly for a distance of 0.500 miles, to a point 3.591 miles south and west of the north city limits of Atlanta, said point also being the point of termination.
(C) 
Sixty-five (65) miles per hour from a point 3.591 miles south and west of the north city limits of Atlanta, southwesterly for a distance of 0.731 miles to a point 4.322 miles south and west of the north city limits of Atlanta, said point being the west city limits of Atlanta (MP 15.698 Cont. 218-04). The speed limit on this section to be adopted by the state transportation commission as required by state traffic law.
(2) 
For Traffic Traveling in a North-Easterly Direction on U.S. 59:
(A) 
Sixty-five (65) miles per hour from the west city limits of Atlanta (MP 15.698–Cont. 218-04) northeasterly for a distance of 0.731 miles. The speed limit on this section to be adopted by the state transportation commission as required by state traffic law.
(B) 
Sixty (60) miles per hour from a point 0.731 miles northeast of the west city limits of Atlanta, northeasterly for a distance of 0.500 miles to a point 170 feet west of a residential street, said point being 1.231 miles northeast of the west city limits of Atlanta.
(C) 
Fifty (50) miles per hour from a point 1.231 miles northeast of the west city limits of Atlanta, east and north for a distance of 3.091 miles to a point 4.322 miles east and north of the west city limits of Atlanta, said point being the north city limits of Queen City (MP 11.376 Cont. 218-03) said point also being the point of termination.
(b) 
The hereinabove speeds for vehicular traffic traveling upon the hereinabove designated section of U.S. 59 in the direction herein specified be and they are hereby found to be reasonable and safe prima facie speed limits therefor. That portion from a point 1.079 miles south of the north city limit of Atlanta south for a distance of 0.160 miles to a point 1.239 miles south of the north city limit of Atlanta, the speed limit shall be thirty (30) miles per hour when so signed for school speed zone.
(2) 
For traffic traveling in a northerly direction on FM 785:
(A) 
That portion from a point 0.596 miles north of the intersection of FM 785 and FM 249 north for a distance of 0.160 miles to a point 0.756 miles north of the intersection of FM 785 and FM 249, the speed limit shall be thirty (30) miles per hour when so signed for school speed zone.
(b) 
The hereinabove speed for vehicular traffic traveling upon the hereinabove designated section of Farm to Market Road 785 in the direction herein specified by and they are hereby found to be reasonable and safe prima facie speed limits therefor. The fact that this regulation of the speed of motor vehicles is needed, created an emergency which is for the immediate preservation of public safety and general welfare, requires that this article take effect immediately from and after its passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
(c)

(C) 
Fifty (50) miles per hour from a point 0.880 miles east of the intersection of US 59 and SH 77, east for a distance of 0.618 miles, to a point 1.498 miles east of the east intersection of US 59 and SH 77, said point being 1140 feet east of the intersection SH 77 and FM 251;
(D) 
Fifty-five (55) miles per hour from a point 1.498 miles east of the east intersection of US 59 and SH 77, east for a distance of 0.586 miles, to a point 2.084 miles east of the east intersection of US 59 and SH 77, said point of termination being the east city limits of Atlanta.
(2) 
For traffic traveling in a westerly direction on SH 77:
(A) 
Fifty-five (55) miles per hour from the east city limits of Atlanta, west for a distance of 0.586 miles, said point being 1,140 feet east of the intersection of SH 77 and FM 251;

Forty-five (45) miles per hour from 1.204 miles west of the east city limits of Atlanta, west for a distance of 0.880 miles, to a point 2.084 miles west of the east city limits of Atlanta, said point being the east intersection of US 59 and SH 77;
(D)

The following prescribed section of the Indian Hills Subdivision is regulated as to the speed of motor vehicles traveling thereon, and it shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to drive said vehicle in said Subdivision at a speed in excess of the following:
For traffic traveling in any direction on Caddo Drive, Choctaw Drive, Chickasaw Circle, Apache Street, Tejas, Cherokee Street and Coushatta Street; twenty (20) miles per hour.
(b) 
The above speed for vehicular traffic traveling upon the herein above designated roads within the Indian Hills Subdivision is hereby found to be the reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit therefor.
(c) 
The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation is authorized to erect signs indicating the speed limit herein designated.
(d) 
Any person violating the provision of this section shall upon conviction shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provisions found in section 1.106 of this code.

The following prescribed section of the new city park located north of Holy Street and west of FM 785 is regulated as to the speed of motor vehicles traveling thereon, and it shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle to drive said vehicle in said city park at a speed in excess of the following:

for traffic traveling in any direction on any city park street and parking areas; twenty (20) miles per hour.
(b) 
The above speed for vehicular traffic traveling upon the herein above designated roads within the new city park is hereby found to be the reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit therefor.
(c) 
The Texas Department of Transportation and the City of Atlanta is authorized to erect signs indicating the speed limit herein designated.
(d) 
Any person violating the provision of this section shall upon conviction shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provisions found in Section 1.106 of this code.

For traffic traveling in any direction on Leslie Lane between Main Street (FM249) and Kinsey Lane; twenty (20) miles per hour.
(b) 
The above speed for vehicular traffic traveling upon the herein above designated road is hereby found to be the reasonable and safe prima facie speed limit thereof.
(c) 
The Texas Department of Transportation and the City of Atlanta is authorized to erect signs indicating the speed limit herein designated.
(d)

(C) 
Forty (40) miles per hour from a point 121 ft. west of Sheilia St. east for a distance of 0.399 miles to a point 164 ft. east of FM 785.
(D) 
Fifty (50) miles per hour from a point 164 ft. east of FM 785 east for a distance of 0.626 miles to a point 5 ft. west of Lane St.
(E) 
Fifty-five (55) miles per hour from a point 5 ft. west of Lane St. east for a distance of 0.551 miles to the east city limits.
