(a)
A person commits an offense if he drives or operates a bob-tail truck, transit-mix truck, truck-tractor, semitrailer, pole trailer, or other commercial trailer upon Louise Street between U.S. Highway 59 and Louise St. and Main St. except for expeditious delivery or pick-up material upon the designated portion of Louise Street.
(b)
The operator of a bob-tail truck, transit-mix truck, truck-tractor, semitrailer, pole-trailer, or other commercial trailer may operate such vehicle on the designated portion of Louise Street when it is necessary to reach a truck terminal or to load or unload merchandise or conduct business at locations situated along the designated portion of Louise Street.
(c)
A person operating a bob-tail truck, transit-mix truck, truck-tractor, semitrailer, pole trailer or other commercial trailer upon the designated portion of Louise Street shall have in his possession for the inspection of police officers, his logbook, delivery slip, or other evidence of his destination and point of origin to justify the presence of the vehicle on the designated portion of Louise Street.
(d)
The city manager shall erect appropriate signs and marking advising motorists of the truck travel prohibited by this article.
