(A) 
Zoning District Map.
The boundaries of zoning districts set out herein are delineated upon a Zoning District Map of the City of Atlanta, Texas. Said map is adopted as part of this ordinance as fully as if the same were set forth herein in detail.
(B) 
Adoption of Flood Hazard Area Map.
The City of Atlanta adopts the most recent dated Flood Hazard Area Maps. The adoption of the Flood Hazard Area Maps is essential for the protection of health, safety, and general welfare of the public. Such Flood Hazard Area Maps shall be made available for public inspection in the office of the Building Official. The following requirements shall be met before a building permit is issued within a flood hazard area, as depicted or [on] said Flood Hazard Area Maps: No Building Permit may be granted in a Flood Hazard Area until the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval of the permit and the City Council has reviewed and approved the same.

One Zoning District Map shall be filed by the City. This copy shall be the Official Zoning District Map and shall bear the signature of the Mayor and attestation of the City Secretary. This copy shall be the master copy. The master copy may be changed by ordinance only. A copy of the ordinance shall be attached to the master copy[.]

Additional copies of the Zoning District Map shall be placed in the office of the Building Official. These copies shall be used for reference and shall be maintained up-to-date by posting thereon all subsequent amendments.

The Zoning District Map shall indicate as clearly and accurately as possible the physical location of the boundaries of all Zoning Districts. The district boundaries shall be placed on or over the City base map, and the base map shall be used as reference information only and not an actual part of the Zoning Map. The base map may be changed from time to time without requiring zoning amendments; however, the zoning district boundary lines shall be changed only to define the boundaries as set forth by the Zoning Ordinance as may be amended from time to time.
