There shall be only one pole line constructed along any Village street. Said line shall be shared by all utilities.
The extension of any utility services by means of aerial pole lines shall require the approval of the Superintendent.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected within the Village of Dryden a satellite receiving antenna, freestanding solar collection panel(s), freestanding tower(s) appurtenant to radio and/or television transmission and/or wind powered generators or similar devices without first submitting plans for such structure and obtaining a permit therefor.
(1) 
Notwithstanding the above, no permit shall be required for the erection of a freestanding satellite dish with a diameter of 25 inches or less, the highest part of which is not more than four feet above the ground.

B. 
Application for any such required permit shall be made to the Zoning Officer of The Village of Dryden. The fee for such permit shall be as set forth on the Village of Dryden Fee Schedule, which Fee Schedule may be established by resolution and thereafter amended from time to time by resolution of the Village Board of Trustees.

C. 
Said application shall contain the following information:
(1) 
The name, address and telephone number of the applicant;
(2) 
The location of the property on which said structure is proposed to be installed;
(3) 
A sketch showing the location of all existing improvements on the property and the proposed location of the proposed structure;
(4) 
A description of the proposed structure including its height and its diameter at its widest point;
(5) 
Proposed buffering in the form of landscaping and/or fencing.
D. 
The following restrictions shall apply:
(1) 
No such structure may be erected in the front yard of any premises nor within 25 feet of any street right-of-way.
(2) 
No such structure may be located closer than 10 feet to any rear or side boundary line in any zone.
(3) 
Buffering in the form of landscaping or fencing shall be provided so as to minimize objectionable views from adjoining properties.
E. 
It shall be the duty of the Zoning Officer, upon the filing of the application for a permit to install such a structure, to examine the plans, specifications, and other data submitted to him/her. If it appears that the proposed structure is in compliance with the requirements of this chapter he/she shall thereafter, within five days, issue a permit for such installation. If the Zoning Officer shall refuse to grant such permit, the applicant may appeal the decision to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
