The Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor may acquire, by conveyance, purchase or condemnation, real or leasehold property needed for any public purpose to erect buildings thereon for the benefit of the municipality and to sell at public or private sale, after 20 days' reasonable notice to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, any real or leasehold property belonging to the municipality when it determines that the same is no longer needed for public use.

The Mayor and Town Council hereby authorize the Mayor and/or the Clerk-Treasurer for the Town of Colmar Manor to act on behalf of the Town of Colmar Manor to execute and deliver a contract of sale, deed and all necessary documents and rights set forth in § 59-1.
