Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to maintain, operate, or conduct a circus or carnival of any description within the corporate limits of the city, unless same is situated not less than 900 feet from a business house, residence, or church within the city. This section shall not apply to any of the above described entertainments playing a one day and night performance.

Any person or persons violating this article shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision in Section 1.109 of this code, and each day will constitute a separate offense.
