Editor’s note–Since adoption of this provision, the regulations contained in the Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways (V.T.C.S., Article 6701d) have been recodified and are now located in V.T.C.A., Transportation Code.
The City of Panhandle, Texas, shall adopt and incorporate into its ordinances and rules of the city the provisions of the “Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on Highways,” of the State of Texas as set forth in V.A.C.S. Article 6701d and any amendments presently included or that shall be henceforth adopted by the State of Texas, excepting those rules and regulations that shall be specifically adopted by the city council, which rules and regulations shall be contained in ordinances adopted by the city council.
