(a) 
Upon the approach of any vehicle or apparatus of the fire department of the City of Teague, Texas, answering an alarm of fire, the driver of any vehicle other than a vehicle of the aforesaid fire department, shall drive as closely as possible to the right-hand curb and stop and remain at a standstill for five minutes, and shall not follow within six hundred (600) feet after the said vehicle or apparatus of said fire department has passed. No vehicle, except by direction of the chief of the fire department or other official of said fire department, shall approach or park within six hundred (600) feet of a fire at any time.
(b) 
All vehicles pertaining to the fire department of this city shall have prior right-of-way upon all the streets and avenues of this city, and it shall be unlawful for any person, owner, driver, motorman, chauffeur, engineer, conductor or any other person in charge or control of any buggy, wagon, carriage, street car, automobile, engine, or train, or any other vehicle propelled by whatsoever motive power to drive over any line of fire hose or carelessly, wantonly, willfully or maliciously delay any fire apparatus of this city in going to or coming from any supposed or actual fire.
(c) 
Any person who shall violate in any way any of the provisions of this article or who shall fail or refuse to comply therewith, shall upon conviction be shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in Section 1.109 of this code.
