(a) Certain streets are designated by the city as no truck routes for vehicles over 30,000 lbs. Ordinances pertaining to no truck routes are not included in this code, but such ordinances are on file in the city secretary’s office and are specifically saved from repeal upon adoption of the Code of Ordinances.
(b) Exclusions.
Vehicles in excess of 30,000 lbs. traveling the streets referenced in subsection
(a) above for the purpose of specific delivery or solid waste collection are exempt. No overnight parking of vehicles will be permitted.
(c) Penalty.
Any person who shall violate this section, or fail to comply therewith, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by fine in accordance with the general penalty provided in section
1.01.009 of this code.
