(a) 
Schedule of fees.
The following fees shall be charged for the work shown. Other fees may be required under other ordinances. In the event that a permit is to be issued for work not shown below, a fee shall be charged based upon a category of work shown which most early resembles the work intended. The permit fees listed may be doubled if work is started prior to the permit being issued.
(b) 
Permit.
(1) 
It shall be unlawful for any person to proceed with new/remodel construction and/or the installation of fence, sign, concrete, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, house moving, fuel tank installer, maintenance worker for apartments (plumbing/mechanical) as provided for in this code; without securing a permit from the city.
(2) 
Where work for which a permit is required by this section is started or proceeded with prior to obtaining said permit, the fees herein specified shall be doubled.
(c) 
Refunds.
The city council sets these fees and they are nonrefundable.
(d) 
Collection of fees.
All fees collected hereunder shall be paid to the city prior to issuance of a building permit.
(e) 
Tiny homes.
No homes under 1,200 square feet allowed inside the city limits.
(f) 
New construction.
(1) 
Must be inspected by building inspector and the fee is the cost charged by that inspector.

Residential.
(1) 
Any person desiring to demolish a residential structure located within the city limits shall apply, in writing, with the city manager for a permit to do so. At the time of application, the person making the application shall tender to the city $100.00.
(2) 
Any person desiring to move or remove a residential building or structure located within the city limits shall apply, in writing, with the city manager for a permit to do so. At the time of application, the person making the application shall tender to the city $250.00.
(b) 
Commercial.
(1) 
Any person desiring to demolish a residential structure located within the city limits shall apply, in writing, with the city manager for a permit to do so. At the time of application, the person making the application shall tender to the city $200.00.

Any person desiring to move or remove a residential building or structure located within the city limits shall apply, in writing, with the city manager for a permit to do so. At the time of application, the person making the application shall tender to the city $250.00.

Any person desiring to erect a sign within the city limits shall be required to tender to the city a $100.00 fee and complete a special use permit application. If council approves the application the following fees will apply:
(1) 
Sign less than 30 square feet: $25.00.
(2) 
Sign over 30 square feet: $50.00.
