(a)
The joint utility system’s main lines may be extended beyond the corporate limits of the city into the county with the approval of the city council. The city council may require all cost of the extension to be paid by the applicant requesting the extension.
(b)
Main lines may not be extended to any area outside the city’s corporate limits until a plat with dedicated easements for the service lines as well as public access has been prepared, approved, and filed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
(c)
Meters for the joint utility system’s main lines extended beyond the corporate limits may be located and installed at the boundaries of the city limits.
(d)
Policies, procedures or standards pertaining to previous extensions outside the city limits shall not be considered as established policies, procedures or standards for any such future extensions.
