(a) 
Fixed rates for sanitation services shall be designed to cover the cost of operating the solid waste collection system. A solid waste disposal factor will be used to determine the additional costs involved with solid waste disposal. Sanitation customers shall be classified as follows:
(1) 
B1: Residential:
Domestic purposes in individual private dwelling, duplexes, or apartments supplied at one delivery point.
(2) 
B2: Commercial:
Commercial or governmental purposes supplied at one delivery point, ability to share dumpster, and picked up once per week.
(3) 
B3: Commercial Heavy:
Commercial or governmental purposes supplied at one delivery point, dedicated dumpster, picked up more than once per week.
(4) 
BSPL: Special Sanitation Customers:
Residential, commercial, governmental, or other type of customer requiring special sanitation services, i.e. out of town, special waste, etc.
(5) 
B5: Residential Out of Town:
Domestic purposes in private dwellings living outside the city limits. Dumpsters will be picked up once per week.
(6) 
Monthly Rate Schedule:
(A) 
B1 Residential: $15.00 base rate.
(B) 
B2 Commercial: $15.00 base rate.
(C) 
B3 Commercial: $18.00 per dumpster per month plus $5.00 per month for each average additional weekly pickup.
(D) 
B4 Special: Special sanitation rates will be established on a case-by-case basis.
(E) 
B5 Out-of-town:
(i) 
0–3 miles out: $40.00 per dumpster.
(ii) 
3–6 miles out: $50.00 per dumpster.
(iii) 
6–9 miles out: $60.00 per dumpster.
(iv) 
9–12 miles out: $70.00 per dumpster.
(v) 
12–18 miles out: $80.00 per dumpster.
($20.00 extra per month for each additional dumpster at any out-of-town location at any mileage.)
(F) 
WD: Actual cost charged by the county landfill divided by number of garbage users.
(b) 
Sanitation customers will be provided with sufficient dumpsters so that no more than three (3) pickups per week will be required. Customers requiring additional dumpsters will be charged the appropriate monthly fee.
(c) 
A solid waste disposal fee will be computed for each month. This fee will be based on the following solid waste disposal factor.
(1) 
Actual monthly fees for disposal of solid waste: $XX.XX [sic].
(Landfill charges, roll-off box expense, and/or any other special solid waste disposal expense.)
(2) 
Number of customers for month: XXX [sic].
(3) 
Solid waste disposal factor: $XX [sic]/Customer (1 divided by 2).
This disposal fee will be charged as a separate item on the customer’s monthly utility bill.
