It shall be unlawful for anyone to engage in business as, or
to perform or offer to perform any services of, a structural pest
control operator as defined in the Structural Pest Control Act, V.T.C.A.,
Occupations Code, chapter 1951, within the corporate limits of the
city, without having first registered at the office of the city manager
and having on file at the office a copy of the operator’s current
and valid structural pest control business license and certified applicator’s
license issued under the provisions of V.T.C.A., Occupations Code,
chapter 1951.

Each structural pest control operator doing business in the city shall register annually with the city manager and file with him a copy of the operator’s current structural pest control business license and certified applicator’s license issued pursuant to V.T.C.A., Occupations Code, chapter 1951. Each registrant shall be charged and shall pay an annual registration fee as set forth in the fee schedule in appendix
A of this code to offset the cost of administering this article.

After registration, the operator shall be permitted to solicit business in the city without complying with the provisions of article
5.04, division 1 of this chapter regulating peddlers, solicitors and itinerant vendors.
