All owners of automobiles or motor vehicles shall, before using such vehicle or machine upon the public streets or alleys within the city limits, display in a conspicuous place on said machine its number as required by law to be registered.

It shall be unlawful for any person to use any device upon any motor vehicle known hereafter as a muffler cut-out upon any public street within the corporate limits of the city.

(a) 
It shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle on any street or highway within the city limits using or operating with the assistance of engine brakes, exhaust brakes, or similar devices except for the aversion of imminent danger.
(b) 
Any person or corporation or association violating any of the provisions of this section or failing to observe the provisions hereof shall be fined a sum not to exceed the maximum allowable by state statute, and each violation shall be a separate offense.

It shall be unlawful for any person to skate or roll with or upon roller skates of any kind or description in, on or across the sidewalks within the city limits.

It shall be unlawful for any person to ride any bicycle on or across any sidewalk within the limits of the city.

All limbs or branches of trees overhanging a road, street, or alley within the city limits shall be cut or trimmed to a minimum height of fourteen feet. Any person who fails to maintain the trees upon their property in accordance with this section shall be fined.
