No person, firm, or corporation shall park a vehicle on:
(1) 
Converse Street in a zone beginning at the south intersection of 12th Street and Converse Street north along Converse Street to the city limits.
(2) 
F.M. 609 (La Grange Street) in a zone beginning at a point 403 feet north of the intersection of Twelfth Street and F.M. 609 north along F.M. 609 to the city limits.
(3) 
Highway 90 West in a zone beginning at the intersection of Faires Street and Highway 90 West along Highway 90 to the west city limits.
(4) 
The east side of North La Grange Street (F.M. 609) in a zone beginning at the intersection of North La Grange Street (F.M. 609) and 12th Street south along North La Grange Street (F.M. 609) to the intersection of North La Grange Street (F.M. 609) and 11th Street.

Motor vehicle.
A self-propelled vehicle.
Recreational vehicle.
A motor vehicle or trailer primarily designed as temporary living quarters for recreational camping or travel use. The term includes, but is not limited to, a travel trailer, camping trailer, truck camper, and motor home.
Street.
The width between the boundary lines of a publicly maintained way any part of which is open to the public for vehicular travel, including paved and unpaved portions of the right-of-way.
Trailer.
A vehicle, with or without motive power, designed to be drawn by a motor vehicle and to transport persons or property. The term includes, without limitation, a boat trailer, equipment trailer, camping trailer, travel trailer, and utility trailer.
Vehicle.
A device that can be used to transport or draw persons or property on a street.

Persons violating this division shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in accordance with the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code.

It shall be unlawful for any person, having registered in his or her name or owning or operating or having charge of any recreational vehicle or trailer, to cause, allow, suffer or permit the same to be parked or left standing upon any street within the city for more than forty-eight (48) hours within any consecutive seven (7) day period.

In any prosecution charging a violation of this division governing the standing or parking of a recreational vehicle or trailer, proof that such vehicle described in the complaint was parked in violation of this division, together with proof that the defendant named in the complaint was, at the time of such parking, the registered owner of such vehicle, shall constitute in evidence a prima facie presumption that the registered owner of such vehicle was the person who parked or placed such a vehicle at that point where, and for the time during which, such violation occurred.

The police department and all members thereof are authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by a commercial towing service, any prohibited vehicle illegally parked. The registered owner of the recreational vehicle or trailer shall be responsible for the charge by the commercial towing service for towing under this section, and any commercial towing service shall be entitled to demand payment of its reasonable towing charges prior to releasing the recreational vehicle or trailer to the registered owner thereof.
