There shall be a Board of Appeals, as provided in MGL c. 40A, § 12, to consist of three residents who shall be appointed by the Select Board, for terms of such length and so arranged that the term of one member shall expire each year. One member shall be an attorney and at least one of the remaining members shall be a registered architect, professional civil engineer or master builder.
