The Building Department shall be under the supervision and control of the Building Commissioner, appointed by the Select Board.
The Building Department shall enforce the requirements of the State Building Code, electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, mechanical and sprinkler codes and regulations and all requirements for fire alarms, demolition permits and smoke detectors.
