The city hereby enters into mutual agreement with other governmental
units and becomes a member of the South Plains Association of Governments.

The bylaws of the South Plains Association of Governments, on
file in the city secretary’s office, and made a part hereof
for all purposes, are hereby ratified.

The city representative to the general assembly of the South
Plains Association of Governments, and the designated alternate representative
shall be duly elected members of the governing body of the city.

Payment of membership dues when called for by the board of directors
of the South Plains Association of Governments, is hereby authorized.
