All city equipment shall be used primarily for city business.
Any use of city equipment to help charitable organizations, needy
individuals or for private commercial purposes shall be only at such
times as equipment is available because there is no ongoing city need
for the equipment.

If city equipment is available it may be used for commercial
purposes and the city shall be compensated by a fee set herein. The
availability of the equipment for such use shall be at the discretion
of the mayor or if the mayor is not available at the discretion of
the mayor pro tempore.

If city equipment is available it may be used to assist needy
individuals or charitable organizations. The availability of the city
equipment for such donated use shall be at the discretion of the mayor
or in the mayor’s absence in the discretion of the mayor pro
tempore. No fee shall be charged for such use.

City equipment may be used for the above-described commercial
or charitable work only within the city limits or at the cemetery.

The fee to be charged for the commercial use of such city equipment
shall be at the rate of $25.00 per hour which shall begin when the
equipment is picked up from the city and shall cease when the equipment
is returned to the city. The $25.00 rate shall include the fee for
the equipment plus the fee for the operator.
