(a)
Current license and inspection sticker required.
Only vehicles in operating condition with current license and inspection sticker may park on city streets.
(b)
Parking in residential areas.
In residential areas, parking space is limited to curbside footage of the home owner or renter using city utilities.
(c)
Time limit for continuous parking; storage of building materials.
No vehicles or building materials of any kind shall be parked or placed on any street for a continuous period of over 24 hours with the exception of a home or business, and this shall be limited to vehicles meeting the requirements in subsection (a) of this section.
(e)
Removal of vehicles by city.
The city will pick up any vehicles in violation of this section, place in storage, charge for moving and storage, make a reasonable effort to notify the owner and give the owner 90 days to redeem.
(f)
Removal of hazardous vehicles or objects.
The city maintains the right to demand or remove any vehicle or object parked on a city street that creates a hazard or might reasonably be considered a hazard. Determination to be made by a police officer and the councilman. The cost shall be paid by the person causing the problem, and the penalty in accordance to the problem and the ordinance violation.
