(a) 
Impounding fee.
(1) 
For each animal impounded, $50.00, if licensed in the city; $75.00 for unlicensed animal in the city;
(2) 
Second impoundment in any calendar year, $100.00;
(3) 
Third impoundment in any calendar year, $200.00;
(4) 
Fourth impoundment in any calendar year, $200.00;
(5) 
All subsequent impoundments in any calendar year. Maximum fee as allowed by state law.
(b) 
Boarding fee.
A boarding fee of $20.00 per day will be charged for all animals impounded.

A person who desires to adopt an animal from the city shelter shall pay to the city an adoption fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

(a) 
License fee:
Three dollars ($3.00) per year for each dog or cat four (4) months of age or over.
(b) 
Duplicate license tag:
One dollar ($1.00).
(c) 
Transfer of license:
One dollar ($1.00).
(d) 
Duplicate rabies tag:
One dollar ($1.00).

(a) 
The annual fee for registration of a dangerous dog is fifty dollars ($50.00).
(b) 
Anyone bringing a dog into the city limits that has been declared dangerous by another animal control authority shall pay a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and the animal control officer shall issue a new tag to be placed on the dog’s collar.
