The city may direct its attorney to bring a civil action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of this division.

Certain violations specified in section 42-47 of this division may be classified as Class C, B or A misdemeanors, or 3rd degree felonies. Consult Chapter 365, Subchapter B, of the Health and Safety Code.
Any person who violates any provision of this division shall be guilty of a misdemeanor (Class C), and upon conviction shall be fined any sum up to $1,000.00. Each day such violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
