Street numbers shall be provided for each dwelling, business, industry and other buildings in the Town of Northborough.

The numbers shall be made of permanent, weatherproof materials, shall be at least three inches in height and shall be clearly visible from the street or roadway upon which the structure fronts.
The numbers shall be placed on each structure or a suitable support near the main entrance to the structure so as to be visible.
The numbers shall be those assigned to each structure by the Assessors and filed in the office of the Town Clerk.
It shall be the responsibility of each property owner in the town to obtain and display the appropriate street number within 90 days of the effective date of this chapter.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Board of Selectmen through the office of the Building Inspector.

Failure to comply with this chapter shall subject the property owner to a fine of $20.
