An earthen barrier of impervious material shall be constructed between sprayable environments and waterways or the land may be cultivated for absorption purposes, such decision to be made by the Board of Health after investigation. Said barrier shall be approved by the local Board of Health.

Areas not approved by the Board of Health for dumping of rinse water are required to utilize services of licensed haulers as approved by the Board of Health and D.E.Q.U.E.
All materials shall be stored according to state and EPA and Northborough Board of Health regulations.
No person shall dispose of or store, or receive for disposal or storage, any pesticide or pesticide container residue in any of the following ways:
A.
In a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
B.
So as to cause or allow the indiscriminate discarding of pesticide or pesticide containers. When burning takes place, due regard must be given to wind direction in relation to the protection of crops, animals and people from pesticide vapors created through burning.
C.
So as to cause or allow dumping of pesticides in any stream, river, pond, sewer or lake.
D.
So as to violate any applicable state or federal pollution control standard.
At the end of an ordinary working day, paper bags shall be burned and containers (other than bags) shall be buried on the site, as approved by the local Board of Health, four feet above the water table, and the Board shall be notified where buried. Rinse waters shall be disposed of only in designated areas approved by the Board of Health. Users not approved by the Board of Health for dumping and burning and rinsing are required to utilize the services of a licensed hauler approved by the Board of Health.

Any person who violates any provision of these regulations shall be subject to the criminal and civil penalties set forth in MGL C. 132B, § 14. In addition, violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of $50 for each such violation. Each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
